Each workshop pays tribute to a specific ancestor with a custom cake recipe dedicated to them. We will also welcome a special guest from the lineage of the honored ancestor. In this workshop, we will honor the love of Marlene Wright.\nThrough the sharing of these stories and recipes, we honor the richness of our heritage. We recognize the resilience of our ancestors who have influenced our lives, helping us stay connected to our identity. Together, we honor our history while crafting new memories, ensuring that the legacy of love continues. Participants will receive a recipe card, a slice of love cake to take home, and a favor bag filled with a special gift from two local small businesses: Mural City Cellars and Goodlands Food Co.\n\n\n
